In spite of all these major changes in the country the civil war that lasted for more than a decade, the growing corruption and the disfigurement have made the country as dilapidated. As a result of this, the economy of the country has become weak. It is therefore, the living standard of the people have grown worst, the children are the most effected and the young people to whom we call the future leaders of Nepal have become jobless and depressed. The frequent closures, strikes, killings and the donation campaigns have made people hopeless and fearful. The great desires of the people of receiving peace and basic needs have turned into a day dream. In Mathew 20:28 Jesus said, “……. even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” This great example of Jesus Christ have inspired Endeavour Nepal to come with the theme of “Evangelism through the Social Services” in the hopeless society to show the hope in Christ Jesus, to taste the love of Christ and to experience the real peace we receive through His son Jesus Christ. I am very grateful to the Churches, Christian organizations and the Christian individuals both within the country and abroad for their faithful prayers, encouragements and for the genuine supports. The challenges are many and to fulfill these challenges and to fulfill His great commandment we need your prayers and resources and I am encouraged to look forward receiving all these continually from you in the days and the years to come.
